受持续的地缘政治紧张局势影响，英国股市周四下跌。同时，英国央行（BoE）如市场预期，将基准利率维持在4.25%不变。

不过，英国央行货币政策委员会（MPC）中有三位成员投票支持此次会议降息25个基点，显示出比市场预期更为鸽派的倾向。

英国央行表示，通胀仍面临“两面风险”，并再次重申“逐步而谨慎地撤除货币政策限制依然是合适的”。

在金融衍生品市场上，尽管利率按兵不动，英镑小幅走高。兑欧元上涨0.20%，至1.1713；兑美元上涨0.25%，至1.3435。

美元走软，此前美联储周三也如预期按兵不动。然而，美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔警告称，通胀风险依然存在，随着特朗普总统的关税措施逐步影响消费者，商品价格将在夏季上扬。

与此同时，瑞士法郎走强，因瑞士国家银行（SNB）将利率下调25个基点至0%，并表示不计划进一步降息。尽管大多数市场参与者预期会降息，但也有部分人原先预计利率将重返负值区域至-0.25%。

挪威央行也出人意料地将关键利率下调至4.25%，为自2023年底以来的首次降息。官方表示，通胀下降速度快于预期，逐步正常化利率将有助于在不过度收紧的情况下支持经济。

由于美国“六月节”公众假期，包括华尔街和国债市场在内的大部分美国市场周四休市。

伦敦股市收盘时，富时100指数下跌0.6%，报8,791点；更广泛的富时250指数下跌1.0%，报20,073点。

在蓝筹股中，惠特布雷德（Whitbread）下跌1.2%，该公司为Premier Inn酒店和Brewers Fayre连锁餐厅的母公司，其英国总销售额下降5.4%，每可用客房收入下降2.4%。

不过能源板块上涨，BP上涨1.4%，壳牌上涨1.1%，因以色列与伊朗的冲突进入第七天，油价再次攀升。英国布伦特原油上涨0.4%，至每桶77.03美元。

在富时250指数中，医疗投资公司Syncona上涨4.8%，该公司提议修改投资目标，转向有序处置资产，同时公布其每股净资产价值有所下滑。

但网络安全公司NCC大跌11.2%，尽管其税前利润几乎翻倍，但全年营收下降了6.0%。

招聘公司Hays大跌9.8%，此前其发布全年利润预警，称永久性岗位市场环境更具挑战性。同业Pagegroup亦大幅下跌8.4%。
