内田表示，当市场不稳定时，日本央行不会提高利率。他的言论是对本周初因上周疲弱数据引发的美国经济衰退担忧和日本“套利交易”平仓导致的大规模股票抛售的回应。

USDJPY H1

在货币市场上，由于日元走弱，英镑兑日元大幅攀升2.4%至187.56。英镑兑美元上涨0.2%至1.2720，此前一交易日曾跌至五周低点，英镑兑欧元也上涨0.2%至1.1635。

SPX500 H1

伦敦股市收盘时，蓝筹股富时100指数上涨1.8%至8166.88点，较广泛的富时250指数上涨1.0%至20,576.03点。

受助于抵押贷款机构Halifax的数据显示，英国7月份房价上涨0.8%，创六个月最大涨幅，房屋建筑商需求强劲。在蓝筹股建筑商中，Persimmon上涨2.5%，Barratt Developments上涨1.7%，Taylor Wimpey上涨1.3%。

随着全球市场复苏，银行也是富时100指数的主要赢家之一，渣打银行上涨2.8%，NatWest上涨3.6%，劳埃德银行上涨3.3%。

UK100 H1

在金融服务领域，人寿和养老金集团Legal & General上涨1.3%，因其公布的中期利润超过分析师预期，主要得益于年金销售的增加。而财富管理公司Quilter在中期收益也超过预期后上涨了4.6%，这家富时250上市公司公布了更强劲的现金净流入。

但在负面消息方面，广告集团WPP在下调年度收入增长预期并同意将其在营销公司FGS Global的控股权出售给KKR后，下跌了2.0%。软饮料装瓶商可口可乐HBC在发布上半年收入增加后上调全年预期，但由于融资成本上升，其股价下跌了1.5%。劳埃德保险公司Hiscox在指出更活跃的损失环境的同时，上半年利润有所上升，但其股价仍下跌了1.8%。
